"One of the things that I wonder now being older is: 'What the heck would I be doing if I weren't doing this?'" Woolard said with a chuckle. "And I can't think of anything. It keeps me engaged, and I really enjoy the people."

Effective November 2018, California adopted new Rules of Professional Conduct modeled on the American Bar Association’s Model Rules. This was the first major overhaul of the California’s Rules in 30 years. Although the new Rules are in many respects the same as the old Rules, there are significant changes. We will provide a general overview of the Rules and a more detailed look at what has changed. We will also look at significant new Ethics Opinions and explore common problems that may arise in your practice.
